Breaking: NY Yankees Pitcher Dead In Plane Crash?
This whole thing has scared the crap out of me today - I was thinking it might be 9-11 all over again, but it turns out it’s just some dumb celeb trying to get his pilot’s license!
New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle is feared dead after a small aircraft he allegedly owns crashed into a high-rise building on the east side of Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon, according to CNN.
Lidle’s passport was found in the street below the crash, and Yankees manager Joe Torre told the network that the plane was owned by Lidle. Federal Aviation Administration records also show that the plane was registered to the athlete, according to the Associated Press.
