Ellen deGeneres To Marry Her Girlfriend - I give it six months

Now that her life is moving in a positive direction, Ellen, 48, has decided that the time is right to have a commitment ceremony to formalize her relationship with 33-year-old Portia. Since gay marriage is not legal in California, the wedding will be symbolic and not legally binding.
Honestly, I do wish them the best, but there’s something in the air over there in California that makes it physically impossible for anyone to stay together for more than two years, Britney and Kevin notwithstanding. (they don’t count because they have trailer trash blood running in their veins, it gives them some kind of weird immunity)

Ellen and Portia make a beautiful couple and just because they are a lesbian couple living in California doesn’t mean they can’t make it work. It’s not Ellen’s fault that all these women who say they are “lesbians”, decide a short time later to go back to men. Good luck Ellen!

Ellen Degeneres only had the 1 experience where she was dumped (Anne Heche). She in her own admission on a tv interview has always dumped her girlfriends so Heche dumping her was a first for Degeneres yet some of her fanatic fans want to always try to portay Ellen as the “poor victim.” As lesbian, I do not think that Ellen and Portia are a good couple. Portia is gorgeous and Ellen looks like an average “joe.” I guess if you have millions and your own talk show, a lack of good looks can be overcome? I bet Portia misses being with a gorgeous feminine woman. I read in one of her magazine interviews that she is not attracted to “butch” females. I have looked at pics of Ellen from the start of their relationshio to the present. Ellen has gotten more and more “butch” in appearanceo over the years. Hopefully, some beautiful femme will pull Portia out of her “coma” and remind her of what she is missing. Oh, I forgot she probably already experices that acting as Joely Richardsons’ lover on NipTuck. Richardson is hot and her and Portia have great on-screen chemistry. I believe that the recent rumors of relationship problems with Ellen and Portia are probably somewhat accurate. I like the Ellen Degeneres 1990’s version. The 2007 Ellen version I do not care for. It appears that all she cares about is money and staying on the A-List in Hollywood. She will do anything it appears to stay on the air. How sad…

mediawatcher, would you be the “gorgeous feminine woman” Portia so misses being with? lol… Ellen is much more feminine than Portia’s previous gfs…
