She’s facing some pretty serious penalties for this – most likely she’s going to only get a slap on the wrist, I’d be surprised if she even got community service. See images here.
The car that you see all smashed up there is the one where the people she crashed into actually died. Yep, died. Sadness. Here’s the blurb from our friends at Splash News:
These photos are from the December 31st car crash involving Brandy that killed Awatef Aboudihaj. The California Highway Patrol has recommended that Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter and if found guilty, Brandy could be sentenced to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine.
The 28-year-old actress and RnB singer is alleged to have caused a multi-car accident on December 31 last year when her Land Rover smashed into the back of another car. Two other vehicles then became involved in the collision and one woman – 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj from LA – died in hospital the following day.
The California Highway Patrol said that Brandy had failed to brake in time when the cars in front of her slowed down.

Jeff, you are an ignorant Racist. By the way, African American is the correct spelling. A woman has loss her life in that fatal highway accident. And if Brandy is found to be at fault, then I think that she should be punished. It’s only because she is a celebrity that this case is getting so much publicity. Someone gets killed in a car accident everyday because of some other driver foolishness. I don’t think the cause of this accident has anything to do with a person race. Brandy’s race didn’t cause this accident. You, one your family members or friends could be in Brandy’s position right now. Think about that next time you’re driving in your vehicle doing things you’re not suppose to do while driving, like speeding, drink & driving, talking on your cell phone, looking at a map, combing your hair, looking at yourself in the rear view mirror and so forth. Anything that can distract you for just a few seconds can cause an accident.
