Virgie Arthur files new appeal for Anna Nicole’s body
You know, I have to say I’m siding with Virgie on this one. She’s the next of kin, she should say where her daughter is going to be buried. Even with all the crap that they put up with from each other, she’s still her mother.
Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur, has filed court papers asking a Florida judge to issue an emergency order stopping the release of Anna’s body to the court-appointed guardian of Dannielynn. Arthur says that "as natural mother and next of kin" of Anna and therefore Arthur is "entitled to make the decision regarding where [she], her child, is to be buried."

I’ve got to disagree with you here. Anna was vehement in her claims that her mother abused her for years. Why on earth would she be allowed to have a say in Anna’s final resting place? I think she’s a control freak and a attention whore who’s just out for the money from Dannielynn’s estate. In every interview after the death of her son, Anna was visibly distraught. Why would a good mother try to make sure that her daughter wouldn’t been buried with her only son? Go back to Texas and let it be.

Think about this:
1. Can Howard Stern afford to live in the Bahamas? Mr.Thompson, (owns house) has already filed eviction papers. Howard is NOT Anna and he’ll be OUT!!
2. Now Daniel and Anna are buried ALONE in the Bahamas!?!? Who can tend to and visit those graves? Birkhard is not wealthy, nor the Tx family. How about any fans Anna had. Not a good move. Who knows who H.S. will go.
3. Exhume Daniel. He was clearly the only person in the world that Anna loved. Put them side by side just as Anna wanted. That can be CA, TX or ? Larry’s Kentucky family can visit and so can fans — lots easier in the U.S.
P.S. I’ve had to deal w/loved ones on drugs — we just do not know the whole story. Anna clearly had a mind and a vision of her own. So, so sad that drugs brought her death and often a lose of control of her own life.

I believe they should let Anna be buried in the Bahamas with her son. She already bought her plot along with Dannielynns’. She knew where she wanted to rest and be at peace, give her that dignity!!! If she was buried, she be rolling in her grave knowing what her mommie dearest is trying to do! Virgie go home and leave your daughter alone, the way she wanted it. You are letting your guilt run your emotions and its not fair to Anna!

I agree with Pamela. Bury them in TX, where family can visit. Drugs alone create perceptions that are unreal. I believe Anna had more control over family issues than Vergie, after all Vergie had Daniel for 6 or 7 yrs while Anna did her thing as stripper. God Bless Vergie. Anna’s lifestyle and partnership’s contributed to her fairytale and Anna took her family away from her children as she did with Larry Birkhead. I think Anna created her own hell trying to be someone she’s not, Marilyn Monroe. Anna certainly had issue’s knowone could help her with other than professionals. Howard Stern lived for her income and dream. Both needed help.

It makes me sick to watch tv anymore, because It’s always about where anna’s going to be buried or who the “real” father of Dannielynn is. All I have to say is that F**K Virgie!!!!!!!! The only reason that Virgie is carrying on the way that she is, is because she’s trying to make it look like it was all Anna’s fault that they didn’t talk or visit each other. I hate this woman, I don’t know her or anna, but my message to Virgie is, “STOP WITH THE FAKE A** TEARS, YOUR KILLING ME, NOBODY SHOULD FEEL SORRY FOR YOU! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER, THEN SHUT THE F**K UP AND LET HER BE BURIED WHERE SHE WANTED TO BE BURIED. I’M SURE IF SHE WANTED YOU TO HAVE ANY SAY SO IN WHERE SHE WAS GOING TO BE BURIED, SHE WOULD HAVE LEFT THAT DECISION TO YOU IN HER WILL OR HAVE TOLD YOU PERSONALLY!! Virgie give it up! Stop trying to control everything. She despised you and wants nothing to do with you. Face the facts and let her dying wishes be honored. It is not about you. It is about Anna Nicole. You insulted her in life and create pain in her death. You were not a mother to her in life and she doesn’t want you in death. You should be ashamed. If you care one iota, let her have what she wants.

For heavens sake, Virgie Arthur is nuts and a total control freak. No wonder Anna Nicole didn’t want anything to do with her. People remember that Anna Nicole isn’t the only person that kicked her Mother out of her life, her other daughter the sister of Anna Nicole is also estranged from Virgie. It’s obvious to many of us and even the court judges that the ONLY thing Virgie wants is money for the rights on these events if she wins. Let Anna Nicole and Danny lie in peace in the Bahamas. Virgie would within a year stop visiting the graves once she got the money she wants from the rights. She doesn’t care about either Anna Nicole or her grandson and that’s quite clear if she won’t let them lie in peace. Anna made it clear she wanted to lie next to Danny in the Bahamas and that’s the way it should be. Virgie can’t afford all this especially a $1200 and hour lawyer so who’s paying for all the private jets, hotels, food, lawyers, body guards? The answer is clear, the press she has made a deal with. If she really and truly loved Anna and her grandson she would let them lie in peace. Her ONLY motive is money not love. Heaven help that poor baby if she now fights for custody of her. What she is doing now shows the kind of low life she really is. She makes me sick to my stomach just looking at her and hearing her speak. She is a horrific example of being a Mother. Money is her only concern. Let Anna Nicole and Danny lie in peach for heaven’s sake and leave that baby alone. Visit the baby if you must but don’t try and raise her because you have been proven to be a horrible Mother. A true Mother would let her family lie in peace and not rot in a coffin for weeks trying to make some money and get attention. Virgie Arthur is a disgusting immoral human being.

I agree with GAMMY - Ms. Arthur only wants what she can get from her daughters estate. If she cared about her daughter and grandson, she would go out of her way to respect her last wishes. What kind of a mother can only remember a conversation from 10 years ago. As for the poor baby girl, they need to find the real father, let him raise her if he is competent. No one should be able to touch this little girls inheritance until she reaches 18. It should all be set aside in a trust for her. If any of these people who have staked a claim on this poor little girls life really loves her, that is the way they would want it so that when she gets to be of age, she will have more than enough to start her adult life as I am sure her mother would want her to. If the father had to step up and support this child on his own, do you think they would actually be fighting over it. I do feel sorry for this poor child. My only hope is that she ends up with someone who really loves her. Hopefully the courts once they sort everything out will see to it that she is in a loving home, and DEFINITELY NOT WITH VIRGIE ARTHUR.

Thank God Virgie is fighting for the right to her daughters body. The video shown in the courtroom where ans talks so bad about her mother and childhood clearly shows she was on drugs and influenced by the creep Howard Stern. Why is Howard Stern always beside ans when ever she is out in public. He has been getting her to do drugs ever since he first became her lawyer to win the big bucks. ans mentions beatings and even rape during her childhood. With Howard Stern right beside her. If my mother had allowed all this done to me growing up you certainly would not see me in pictures hugging and laughing with my mother when I was a grown up woman. That makes no sense. ans was in contac with her family members until sleezy Howard Stern became her lawyer and saw a chance to make big bucks. This is why he is holding on to the baby girl which is really Larry Birkheads. Do you think he is going to let go of the baby who to him is a pot of gold. Someday this child will see all this for herself. Give it up Howard and get a life for yourself for God sakes. Was Howard Stern watching when Danielynn was conceived. Stern is sickening and nothing but a leech. He knows he is not the father but doesnt have the decency to do what is right. How sad.

If Virgie truly loved her daughter, she would honor Anna’s wishes, apologize to the press for saying negative remarks and quietly return to Texas to grieve in private. I don’t pretend to know this women, but why come out of the wood now. Why wait until Anna cannot defend herself. All these relatives who are talking about Anna did not know this women. Perhaps they knew the young girl Vickie, but Anna created her own world and a mechanism for supporting herself and being known. I would pray that all who are closest to Anna use whatever legal means they have to keep Anna buried in the Bahamas with her son and also let the baby be raised by Howard in an enviroment where she will be loved and feel secure. The baby is the true victim in this sad, sad, ending of Anna’s life.

God bless you Virgie! There is NO greater love on earth, than that of a Mother and her Child! Unconditional Love! I am sure Your daughter loved You, unfortunately drugs contributed to her problems…and all “those” evil people who just wanted whatever “they” could get from Anna. I wish Anna could have gotten her strength from God’s Word-instead of a pill bottle. Perhaps Anna was closer to God than we think…maybe that is why her life was such a struggle. She and Daniel are with God now, no matter where they are buried. It really is sad that Anna only went to the Bahamas to avoid paternity issues and the media surrounding her life. I wish she could have buried Daniel in California-which I think she would have done had it been possible for her at the time. Texas was her home and birthplace, and she and Daniel really should be eventually laid to rest in Texas! As her mother and next of kin, I think it was a disgrace that YOU were not allowed to make that decision. We are all praying for the safety and well-being of your beautiful granddaughter! Hopefully, Larry and she will be together soon. I think he will be a good father and would want his daughter to know her grandmother. Apparently, Howard is keeping another child away from her family! This time the world is watching and praying for her! Stay strong!

Virgie is NO mother! Mothers don’t attempt to make money of their childrens tragedies!She disgusts me on every level! If she was so concerned that Anna was a drug addict who couldn’t think for herself…then why didn’t she take any legal steps prior to Annas death to get her grandchildren or atleast see them? If I thought my child was a drug addict I would certainly atleast be trying to protect my grandchildren. Seems her concerns only came after Anna wouldn’t be around to control the money.If Howard is the root of all of Anna problems, why did she leave home so young, why was she so eager to get out of Texas, and why did she have drug/alcohol problems long before she ever met him? Virgie needs to accept that her daughter hated her and so does most of the world after the shameful way she has conducted herself.

I think along time ago Vergie told Anna she wouldnt amount to anything, and Anna said you just watch me!! Well Vergie got to watch her. Anna Nicole I think learned alot over the years, I think she absolutely knew what she was doing by setting up residency in the Bahamas. At this point , I think the father of Dannielynn of HKS. I dont ever think it will ever have to be proven otherwise. ANS new exactly what she was doing. oh yeah Vergie, stop with the fake tears.
