Britney Spears is dating her AA counselor

Okay, two things. First, I do believe that Britney Spears emits some kind of voodoo charm to men that makes them overlook….well, pretty much overlook everything that would put normal people off. Secondly, isn’t there some kind of rule that prohibits you from dating the people you are counseling? If there is, I think that my first theory is proven.
AA counselor John Sundahl claims he is dating Britney Spears.
The recovered alcoholic says Britney chatted him up at their Alcoholics Anonymous meetings before asking him out more than two months ago.
Fooling the media was easy for the couple, Sundahl said. They simply used different cars and snuck into back entrances for romantic dinner dates shrouded in secrecy. And when he was recently in the hospital with an obstructed bowel, frantic Britney stayed by his side on all-night vigils.
“We are dating right now. I mean she is not moving in or anything but we are dating,” the 38-year-old real estate developer said last night. “It is serious.”
“We live fairly close to each other. I go to her house…It is not something we have been hiding. She joked and told the tabloids we might be dating when she was asked directly about me.”
He also claimed Spears has not fully beaten her alcohol problems and claimed that, despite her trip to Promises rehab center, she is a “practicing alcoholic.” Sundahl refused to comment on how far the couple’s physical relationship has gone and waved off the 13-year age gap.
How romantic – obstructed bowels and practicing alcoholism! That just spells love, doesn’t it?
She is so SLEAZY. Does this guy think he is cool or something cuz he is going out with a TOTAL NUTCASE? Anyone who flashes what’s between her legs for the whole world to see, in particular just after she spit out two babies by that loser K Federline (how GROSS can you get?) has more going on than just alcohol issues. I for one wanted to puke looking at those and other disgusting pics of her. Wish she would GO AWAY. HER TIME UP!!!!! LIP-SYNCHING LOSER.
Regardless of how troubled Britney AND her family are, this can’t be true. Nothing makes any sense in his ‘claims’. If this guy were truly her counselor the first golden rule is never to discuss the client, especially their ‘alcoholism’! It’s stupid AND libelous. This guy sounds like a sociopath looking for his 15 minutes, and he probably has never even met her. He sounds like the typical substance abuse personality, pathologically lying to everyone.
If this story is true or not, one thing is for sure; when you are in rehab for any kind of substance dependency, you have a whole in your self esteem (emotional whole) that you try to fill with alcohol, sex, relationships, food or work.
It happens to everyone. Superstar or not. I try not to judge. I have empathy for people who are trying hard to make a change. It is not an easy journey for them. People fail several times before their head is finally out of the water.
I think we haven’t seen the last of Britney in a rehab center. I wish her and, all the other ones, good luck and good support.
AA doesn’t HAVE counselors. No such thing!
She may be dating someone – but he’s no counselor for AA and it is very misleading to portray him as such.
