Further proof that Tom Cruise is a complete wanker
I think this pretty much clinches his attempt to win Wanker of the Year:
Tom Cruise has reportedly angered locals in Colorado by insisting nobody else is allowed in the cinema when he goes to watch a movie.
The ‘Top Gun’ star, who owns a house in the town of Telluride, has decided he wants to be alone when he goes to The Nugget Theatre.

However, locals are not happy as they will not be able to watch the latest movies when Tom is there.
One said: “It’s the only cinema in town. It’s particularly crazy as he can get hold of any film he likes and watch it alone at home.”
Last month, it was revealed Tom had been banned from filming at a German military base because he is a Scientologist.
The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star is currently making ‘Valkyrie’, based on German officer Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg’s plot to kill Adolf Hitler towards the end of World War II.

So what… he rents out a theater , celebs close stores , theaters and businesses all of the time for privacy but I notice no one makes a big deal about the others who do the same. This is only a big deal because it’s Tom.
Elvis did the same thing all of the time and he definately could have had his own theater at Graceland.
Maybe Tom does not want to constantly be holed up in his house and wants a night out to enjoy a film in a real theater.
Sorry but if those gripeing had Tom’s fame and were constantly being watched by everyone wherever they went and had the money to get some privacy and relax while watching a film and keep people from gapeing at them while they are trying to watch a movie then they would do exactly the same.
So they can’t go to the theater while he’s there.. here’s a thought .. they could make sure to see the movie’s they want when he’s not, which by the way is most of the time . He’s not there long enough or often enough for me to feel sorry for them.
