Does this guy just have a ton of people around him that take turns telling him to do the most stupid stuff they can possibly think of? Perhaps he consults a box of Crackerjacks for his career advice. No, come to think of it, that actually might be a good idea at this point. Maybe a magic 8-ball.
50 Cent has vowed to quit music if Kanye West outsells him.
The two hip-hop stars new albums - 50’s ‘Curtis’ and West’s ‘Graduation - are both released on September 11 and 50 is so confident he will win the sales war he is willing to gamble his future.
50 Cent said: “Let’s raise the stakes.
“If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer perform music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.
“They would like to see Kanye West give me a problem because I’ve worked myself into a space where I’ve become the favourite. Everybody roots for the underdog when he goes against the favourite.”
Well, everyone roots for the underdog when he’s actually not such a pompous ass…which actually puts us in a quandary here, since both Kanye AND Fiddy could use some help in the humility department.
