What is it with actors these days thinking they can write? First Madonna, now Julianne Moore.
Julianne Moore is quitting acting to write more books.
The redhead actress - whose debut children’s book ‘Freckleface Strawberry’ follows the story of a seven-year-old girl trying to come to terms with her red hair and freckles - is planning to concentrate on her budding literary career. “I wrote the first draft of ‘Freckleface Strawberry’ on a plane to London. I wrote it in the margins of my Filofax. That’s how old I am. I still have a Filofax!
“I have no idea whether I’ll do another film - for now, I’m just taking it easy and spending time with my kids.”
Well, honestly, if she can afford to do it, why the hell not. Kids are only little for so long!

A: I have no idea. For now, I’m just taking it easy and spending time with my kids.
There is no whether in there. Honestly, I LOVE how people are jumping to conclusions. She JUST finished shooting a film that took her away from her kids a lot longer than she normally is ~ and she didn’t have much of a break between her play in NYC ending and that starting. She’s not saying she’s quitting, she’s just saying she’s enjoying being with her kids. She’s often taken long-ish breaks, especially after making several in short succession.
HOPEFULLY they’ll bring this leap to conclusions up on Today this morning (or at least on The View next Thursday) and settle it.
