Tom Cruise would like us all to know that he thinks technology is BAD, mmmmkay? And he’s a normal down to earth guy that just wants his kids to experience the wonders and curiosity of the world, mmmmkay? And a whole bunch of other supergay stuff that made me want to puke. Here ya go:
Tom Cruise refuses to have a mobile phone, watch or an email address.
The ‘Lions for Lambs’ star claims he is down-to-earth despite his Hollywood status and £125 million fortune, and has no interest in modern gadgets or accessories.
He said: “I wear jeans, socks and a shirt - all totally normal.
“I get my hair cut on set. I have no iPhone, no mobile, no email address, no watch, no jewellery, no wallet.
“I simply want to be with my children and make movies. My values for my children never change - love, responsibility, curiosity at the wonder of life.
“Every day is a gift. You must learn to take your life in your hands, then you can reach any goal. You make your dreams come true only if you believe in yourself.”

Quite possibly he is challenged by new technology. He dropped out of high school. What you don’t understand, you fear. What you fear eventually becomes what you hate. Ergo, anything beyond his intellectual reach.
