The deep dark secrets of Britney Spears’ family life revealed - it’s not pretty
US magazine has done a wee little expose on the sad background of Britney Spears: let me tell you, this kind of explains a lot. Here’s the highlights:
The “virgin” image Spears portrayed was, in his words, a “PR blitz.” In fact, Us reports in its new issue that Spears lost her virginity at 14 to boyfriend Reg Jones, and that she and Justin Timberlake were intimate from the beginning.

Spears’ paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Spears, in June 1966 committed suicide at age 31. Britney’s grandmother, who suffered from depression, shot herself in the chest with a shotgun at the grave of her infant son who had died eight years earlier just three days after being born.
A local newspaper article obtained by Us reported at the time: “The shotgun had been pressed against the woman’s chest and she apparently pulled the trigger with a toe of the right foot from which a shoe had been removed.” The newspaper reported that Emma Jean had attempted suicide three times before.
Emma Jean Spears left behind four other children, including Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, then an eighth grader. Two of Jamie Spears’ brothers ended up with criminal records and homeless.
GAWD. This is so sordid, isn’t it?

Poor Britney. I feel real bad for her but just because she is famous you can’t expect her or her family to be perfect. I know we all have our deep dark family secrets and what she has been through does explain a lot of how she acts. She clearly didn’t get the love and affection growing up that she needed and has grown up in front of the camera. I still love her no matter what she has done.

It’s not “sordid”, not in my opinion.
It’s just SAD.
And, amazingly enough, yes, it does explain a lot.
The tendency to depression can be genetically transmitted; it also can, and often is, transmitted by means of example: non-verbal as well as verbal communication within the family.
But, while it’s true that money “doesn’t buy happiness”, this would be a good moment for Britney’s friends, if she has any, to remind her that she could be in much worse a position.
If you happen to be Britney’s friend, try and make her volunteer for a while in some orphanage or, perhaps even better, somewhere in the world where people are happy to have a lump of rice a day for their sustenance.
It WOULD help her, believe me.

i feel like they all need to leave her alone, k fedz u are a money hungry turd! i like brittany she was doin just fine until he came along, broke her heart, broke the bank account and broke out!! i know all of this must be hard on her to bare, and the poor girl cant go outside without cameras on her every move. they are gonna drive her to something that we all dont wanna see or hear.. i want brit to fight back!!!!

I never really liked brit and I thought she was just trashy but after reading about her grandmother, depression does run in the blood (it does in my family 2) and this is where her real loved ones need 2 step up and intervene even if she doesn’t want it. I had a friend that was just as normal as any of us and just 2 months ago she hung herself leaving a 4 and 5 year old motherless…. so REAL friends and family of brit please help

It is so sad, but Brittney is not alone. There are millions struggling with major issues. In this great USA, Where is the real help or assistance program. We are still so barbaric in how we treat people with depression, Manic disorders, addictions, etc. Just like not so long ago we put people with TB in institutions. It is really sad that the only alternative is jail and negative publicity.

This is rediculous. I think the public has gone way too far. If this was there family, they would back off. Have some respect. Famous people are just people like you and I and none of this stuff is really anybody’s business ….its just mean stuff that somebody thinks is entertainment. If people would stop loving to hear bad news about people, the press would have to commit to telling other stories of greater help and knowledge.

jamie and lynn are friends to major drug smoke KFED-who is a total loser. Britney had no choice but to divorce the lose. Now they want money and more money. Can a Judge put them on 5250 hold as they can;t feed themself, work or have a home, so they meet the critieria.
