Elizabeth Hasselbeck is coming back to The View
Well, huzzah! Everyone’s favorite hatemonger/idiot will be making her way back to The View after popping out a new Republican!
Hasselbeck, 30, has been away since Oct. 23. She gave birth to son Taylor Thomas on Nov. 9, her second child with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Tim Hasselbeck.
The conservative co-host’s first day back at the table with Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd will be an hour-long “Hot Topics” episode, with a surprise guest, ABC reports.
“She’s never shy about expressing her view, so “Hot Topics” will be getting a whole lot hotter – especially with the upcoming presidential election,” says ABC. “Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepard joined the show shortly before Elisabeth left, so there wasn’t much opportunity for all five co-hosts to interact. Now there will be a new dynamic at the “Hot Topics” table.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what Whoopi Goldberg is going to do with her >>rubbing hands in anticipation<<. Should be good.

The view was a much more civilized and enjoyable show without Elizabeth. I enjoyed the peace and the fact that everyone got to speak. Already I listened for two days, Elizabeth and her opinion is the only one that is heard. I just turned the view off.

Cari is right. I loved watching after E left as well. I prayed the producers would get the overall vibe that no one wanted her back. I thought the ratings would say the same thing. What do people have to do to get her off of the show? All the other gals are GREAT. THEY carry the show. It was proven during E’s leave.

Controversey is what drives ratings. “The View” is a show that is designed to have women with diverse life experiences and points of view talking about current issues. What good is a show that encourages discussion and conversation if all of the hosts think exactly the same way?

Elizabeth is the only SANE one on that show and is constantly putting up with the garbage that Barbara and Whoopi throw at her. They have no idea what they are talking about and Elizabeth knows her facts. They cut her off constantly and try to be condescending, but only make themselves look dumb. Go Elizabeth! There’s more of us supporting you out in the “real” world then there are of the others!
