Is there a 90210 spinoff coming our way? Wasn’t one enough?

Yes, I realize that this picture doesn’t show everyone from the 90210 original cast, but it was the only (legal) one I could find. Well! Rumor has it that there might be a “Beverly Hills 90210″ spinoff coming soon to a TV near you and me. Which surely means that some kind of apocryphal event is in the works, because HELLO?!?!? Brandon and Brenda and the gang….geez, I feel like I need to go pick up some Stridex or something. Here’s the scoop:
The CW network is developing a contemporary spinoff of Aaron Spelling’s seminal 1990s teen soap “Beverly Hills, 90210,” sources said.
Details on the project — including which if any of the characters on the original series will make the transition to the spinoff — remain sketchy.
The spinoff, which is close to getting a writer, has been put on the fast track by the network. It is expected to decide whether to order a pilot by the end of the month.
