Daughter of Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman killed in tragic accident
May 22, 2008 by Wendy Boswell
This is probably the saddest thing I’ve heard in, I don’t know when. The daughter of Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman was tragically killed in an accident yesterday at the family home, and it gets even more tragic: she was killed when one of her big brothers accidentally ran over her with the family car in the driveway, and the other kids saw the accident. I can’t. even. imagine.
If you want to leave a note of condolence for the Chapman family, you can go here: In Memory of Maria. Here’s a video of this sweet girl:

There are lessons for all of us in the Steven Curtis Chapman double tragedy where the youngest son accidentally kills the youngest daughter. How do you deal with such grief? With faith, hope and love. That explains my essay, which if you wish, you can read here: ‘Good Grief! Steven Curtis Chapman, please don’t be Sue-sad’ (http://frankahilario.blogspot.com/).
Chinese civilization is non-Christian. As a Chinese, I am shocked that the death of a young girl only server to reinforce a ridiculous religion rooted in indoctrination and brainwashing. I think foreign parents who have a habit of indoctrinate their children should not adopt. Their hostility against non-Christian culture will create psychological trauma to their daughters.
