Jessica Simpson gets booed at her first country music concert

I almost feel sorry for her, don’t you? Jessica Simpson performed her first country music concert opening for Sara Evans and was actually booed. Yikes! Here’s what she had to say to the crowd:
“I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas,” Simpson told the crowd. “I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy.” - source
Honestly, I think she has a very uphill road to travel here. Her personal life has FAR overshadowed any musical talent she ever had to offer, which, let’s face it, wasn’t much.
