Iranian actress banned from leaving the country to work with Leonardo DiCaprio

August 20, 2008 by Wendy Boswell

Premiere of Warner Independent's "The 11th Hour" - Arrivals

An Iranian actress named Golshifteh Farahani has been prohibited from leaving the country to work with hunk Leonardo DiCaprio on a new movie.

The new movie is from director Ridley Scott and is titled “Body of Lies” with Hollywood actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe - QUITE the lovely combination, if you ask me! Apparently, the problem comes from she didn’t obtain the proper permits. What a bunch of hooey - doesn’t Iran know that they’re only making themselves look like idiots with policies such as this in play? Ridiculous.

    Hello there,

We just hope she face no other problem in her movie life!!!

I do not believe in banning people or creating restrictions but if you look at what Holly Wood did and is doing ( Creating bunch of Lies!) believe me if you were the Mullahs in Iran you would do the same thing. The problem of Fundamentalism is not fundamentals but those who create it such as United State
