Britney Spears at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards
No, I did NOT watch the MTV Video Music Awards, mostly because I honestly can’t abide the kind of music that they award in that silly, overblown show. Gosh, that sounds pompous - maybe I should rewrite that. Naw. I’m lazy, it’s staying.
ANYWAY. I did see that a certain Miss Britney Spears, you know, the one who’s had an extended stay in Crazytown?, decided to make an appearance, and lo and behold, girl looked GOOD. Daddy must have slipped an extra dose of Valium in her Cheetos smoothie that morning, huh? Brit Brit took home three Moonmen, one for her video “Piece of Me”, which yes, was a fun video, but best of the year? That seemed like a pity award. Poor Crazy Britney….what could make her less insane? Oh, I know! An award! Not intense therapy, that’s just crazy talk.
