Madonna and Guy Ritchie granted a divorce today
Well, it’s the end of an era. The UK court has granted Madonna and Guy Ritchie a quickie divorce today, ending a five year marriage. Here’s the preliminary settlement:
British news media reported, without identifying the sources of their information, that the couple had reached a settlement that would see the pop superstar keep the majority of her estimated 300 million pound ($445 million) fortune and share custody with Ritchie of their two children: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006.

A full boring legal settlement should be reached in about six weeks. Madonna’s been hanging out with A-Rod lately, but I don’t think that’s what broke them up; Madonna sued for Guy being “unreasonable”, which, what in the world does that mean? He doesn’t want to take out the garbage or something? Madonna is pretty high-maintenance, if you ask me…..I’d be totally wanting to wear that pointy cone bra all the time just to tick her off.

I was also wondering what she meant by unreasonable. I can be unreasonable sometimes too! Good thing me and Madonna aren’t best buds I guess.
