Jennifer Hudson will be singing the National Anthem at the 2009 Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl on February 1, 2009.
This will be her first public appearance since the murders of her mother, nephew, and brother in October. I think a lot of Jennifer for continuing on after these tragedies; it would be easy to just curl up in a ball and never come out again, but she’s doing what she’s been called to do.
This isn’t the first time she’s sung the anthem at a major gathering; she also sang for the opening of the Democratic National Convention. Listen:
Jennifer Hudson is so gifted and so her voice to me is annointed. You feel such a since of hairs standing up arms, back of you neck. I really enjoy hearing her sing. She is such an inspiration.
I wish her all the best, and that the sky is the limit for her.
