Rihanna shows up at the AMAs in medical tape and bullets

What the hell happened at the American Music Awards last night? First Adam Lambert makes a fool of himself at the AMA’s, then Rihanna shows up after an apparent run to Walgreen’s for a bucket of medical tape and bandages. Whatever happened to less is more and oh, I don’t know, showcasing your talent instead parading your assets up and down the stage. Sexy is one thing, but geez, seriously? Watch:
I may be showing my age here, but I miss the days when MUSICIANS actually showcased their vocal and instrumental skills at award shows. Now it’s just one bad stagecraft wreck after another – while lip synching. I think it’s sad that a woman who is best known for being Chris Brown’s punching bag is capitalizing on that sad story by wearing S and M wear to make herself more relevant.
