Ay yi yi, here we go. Kate Gosselin was photographed yelling at Jon at their $1.1 million home, and afterwards checked into a Days Inn to compose herself (or something, not sure).

Not sure what they were fighting about, but the gist of it was that Kate didn’t approve of the babysitter Jon had hired to watch the kids. I don’t know, but I’m tending to see Kate’s side of the story more these days. Jon is photographed every five minutes with a new blonde floozie, and just basically seems to be a giant weener. Apparently, the split between Fox and Paula Abdul didn’t just happen overnight.

According to a longish article in the NY Times, Paula and her managerial team had been trying to negotiate a higher salary all this season, especially when both Ryan Seacrest and Simon Powell got VERY substantial pay increases. Paula basically asked for the same thing, and she didn’t get it, and she believes that this is because of her sex AND also because she has been portrayed negatively in the press as being addicted to prescription drugs. Kind of like in this video here:

Anyway, she’s definitely not coming back, but she’s already being courted by two different networks and has multiple offers in the works, so she’s fine. I can’t really imagine who they’re going to get to replace her, Kara DiSomething or Other was just boring, she didn’t have that “holy cow what is she smoking?!?!” wow! factor that Paula brought to the table. Maybe they should bring in Courtney Love?

Oh, man, this is sad. Here is the last movie of Heath Ledger before he died, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”. The scenes he wasn’t able to film were taken over by Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell playing different versions of Heath’s character as he traveled through a dream world of sorts. Watch:

Kate Gosselin of “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ is starting to make the talk show rounds now, chatting about her failed marraige and how she’s so humiliated by Jon’s behavior, that she still wears her wedding ring, and that she feels like a failure. Watch her on the Today Show:

Does anyone think that this whole thing feels like a giant publicity stunt? I mean, seriously – Jon is in the freaking tabloids every five minutes with his face plastered all over the place, and now Kate is making the morning talk show rounds. Wouldn’t you think that if they were really going through what they say they are going through, they would choose to do it privately?

ARGHHHHHH!!! This can’t be true, can it?

According to the LA Times, Paula Abdul IS leaving American Idol, and will not be returning this next season. Here’s more:

Apparently, there was sadness about her pocketbook as well. According to people involved, Abdul was offered a deal valued at nearly $5 million a year, which would have been a sizable boost from her current package of close to $4 million annually.

Yep, it came down to money. Ryan Seacrest got more money than she did, so she’s bowing out. I tend to agree with her, amazingly enough – I think she has been absolutely crucial for the show’s phenomenal success. I hope that someone from AI will cough up the money to bring her back, I can’t image it without her, can you?

Jennifer Aniston, who is a well-respected actress in the industry and has a pretty good slew of films under her belt, seems to think that the only way she’s going to stay relevant is to talk about her love life.

Or lack of love life, as it were. Here’s what she said in an interview with Elle magazine for September:

“If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it. I can make fun of myself. And I’ll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up,” she told the mag.

“I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room,” the 40-year- old cracked. “It’s fine. I can take it,” she says.

This is starting to get really awkward. She broke up with Brad Pitt over five years ago now. FIVE YEARS. And she’s had a string of romances since then. It’s obvious that she can’t do relationships, or just hasn’t found the right guy (I tend to go for the latter). But seriously, I am really wondering if she realizes how embarrassing it is for her to continually go on about how she’s 40, and can’t find true love, and holy cow WHO CARES. Wouldn’t it be best to focus your energies on something else, Jen?

Whoopsie! Michael Douglas’s son Cameron Douglas has been busted for some big-time meth.

The word “massive” can be used for how much meth he had, apparently he was running his own little home business. Hey, if Amway and Avon don’t work, just sell meth to tweakers, right?

He was busted at a New York hotel by the DEA, who found him to have around $18k worth of the drug. Dang, can’t a guy make a living anymore?!?! Times are tough!

Oh, for pete’s sake. Seriously? A press conference?

Jude Law’s secret baby mama has been revealed, and her name is Samantha Burke, and of course, she’s an actress (OF COURSE). She’s expecting Jude’s baby in September and is planning to name her Sophia. Here’s a press conference she held to tell everyone that she wants to stay private, which hello? Does anyone else see the irony in holding a press conference to keep private?

If you didn’t catch what she said, here it is:

“I would just really appreciate if everyone would respect my privacy.”

And here’s what her lawyer had to say:

“Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall,” the statement reads. “Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy. Mr. Law and Ms. Burke are committed to the health, safety and well-being of this child throughout the pregnancy and after the child is born.”

Remember the good old days, when people got knocked up and they didn’t feel the need to broadcast it to the world? Yeah.

Keep on milking that money train, Jon and Kate! TLC president Eileen O’Neill announced today that the Jon and Kate Plus 8 show will keep on keeping on, only without the couch.

Instead of the couch, we’re going to see Jon and Kate in separate chairs. They’ll still be parenting the kids, but not necessarily at the same time.

I don’t see how this is going to work, do you? I bet you anything that most of the show from now on will be J and K sniping at each other from their respective chairs, which will be both entertaining and awkward, kind of being in the room when your friends who you invited over for dinner start arguing and you’re not sure if you should say something? Or just ignore it? But then SHE starts crying and HE starts cussing and your dinner party is RUINED. Oh, man.

It was just announced last night that Jude Law, who I frequently have inappropriate thoughts about, is having a fourth child with an as yet unidentified woman.

The British actor already has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost. Here’s what his rep had to say:

“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,” the actor’s rep says in a statement. “Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”

Ooh, this sounds juicy. Okay, so who could it be? Sienna Miller, maybe?
