Elisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant with number 3
January 29, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
On this morning’s View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced that she is pregnant with number 3. If you’re thinking that she just popped out a baby, you’d be right - her youngest just turned one last week. Apparently she was pregnant without realizing it for TWO MONTHS, which, uh, I don’t know how that happens, quite honestly. Anyway, congratulations to the happy couple and all that - three kids under the age of 5 is going to be NUTS.
Patrick Swayze talks about the cancer
January 6, 2009 by Wendy Boswell
Actor Patrick Swayze talked about his cancer and what he’s currently going through with Barbara Walters this week. Here’s what he had to say:
“You can bet that I’m going through hell,” Swayze says to Walters. “And I’ve only seen the beginning of it.”
“There’s a lot of fear here,” he adds. “There’s a lot of stuff going on. Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m [asking] why me. Yeah, I’m all this stuff.”

He also added how he found out he was suffering from cancer: he tried to have some champagne on New Year’s Eve, and it felt like he was drinking acid (fun, right?). And the intestinal issues just started following right on top of each other: he couldn’t eat, was having massive pain, and he lost twenty pounds just like that. How scary! Last I heard, his body is responding well to treatment, so hopefully we’ll have him around for a while longer.

Barbara Walters says that Heather Mills is “not a nice woman”
November 5, 2007 by Wendy Boswell
Most of the time I would say that Barbara Walters is full of horsepucky, and this time is really no exception. Once she has an agenda she sticks to it, know what I mean? Here’s what she had to say about Heather Mills today on the View:
Barbara Walters dished on Heather Mills during “The View” today. She’s interviewed Mills twice and had nothing nice to say about Paul McCartney’s ex after her behavior at the second interview, by which time she was with Paul. Mills complained about the temperature of a glass of water she was given to sip.
Said Barbara in the context of the longer anecdote, “She was extremely difficult… She was so impossible to our producers.”
Walters is generally nice about all her coveted celebrity interviews, but as she showed today, it’s not a good idea to be mean to her producers.
Nice, huh? Here’s the video and interview that they’re referring to, parts 1 and 2:

Barbara Walters calls Trump a “poor, pathetic man”
January 10, 2007 by Wendy Boswell
Things just keep dragging on in the continuing feud between Rosie O’Donnell, Donald Trump, and now Barbara Walters. In today’s show, this is what was said:
One day after O’Donnell reportedly accused Walters of not supporting her enough in her feud with Trump, O’Donnell and Walters went on “The View” Wednesday and said they were both “OK” with each other.
But then Walters called Trump “that poor, pathetic man” — and got a high-five from O’Donnell.
Ever hear the expression “beating a dead horse”? I think we’re witnessing that right about now.
