Last night on Conan O’Brien, actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus was talking about how disappointed she was to lose an Emmy to Tina Fey (who is WAY more funny that Julia could ever hope to be!), so they decided to get together and steal it. The Emmy, I mean. Watch:

Christina Applegate, after undergoing a double mastectomy last month, showed up at the Emmy Awards last night looking absolutely radiant. Here’s what she had to say:

“I have so many people to thank,” she said, “First of all, I would thank everybody for the overwhelming love and support that I’ve gotten through all of this. It brings tears to my eyes.

“Like, every day I get e-mails not even just from people I know, but from people I don’t know who I’ve helped. And that to me is what I’m most grateful for.”

I waited longer than eight weeks just to get into my dentist - and these two are splitting up?

Yep, it’s official. Chris Kattan - who married model Sunshine Tutt just eight weeks ago - has decided that marriage (at least to a woman…..cause isn’t he, um, you know, gay?) is just not for him. After eight weeks, you barely have unwrapped all your wedding presents! How do they know that marriage isn’t working after just EIGHT weeks? Ridiculous. Oh, well - you know we’re going to hear the usual “we’re still friends, we support each other” hooey from their publicists any minute now, along with “it just didn’t work out”.

Well, last week I told you that Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This week, she has revealed that she has undergone a complete breast mastectomy, which means that both of her breasts are completely gone.

Apparently, she has a very aggressive breast cancer gene that makes her more susceptible to breast cancer, and since she does have a family history, she decided to go the very aggressive route, rather than waiting.

Here’s how Christina is handling things right now:

“Sometimes, you know, I cry and sometimes I scream and I get really angry and I get really like, you know, into wallowing in self-pity sometimes,” she said. “And I think that’s _ it’s all part of healing, and anyone who’s going through it out there, it’s OK to cry. It’s OK to fall on the ground and just scream if you want to.”

She is going to have breast reconstructive surgery in the next 8 months or so, so she’s in for quite the ordeal. Amazing.

Wow! Can you believe this? Christina Applegate, best known for her role as a whorish wise-crackin’ daughter on “Married With Children”, has been diagnosed with breast cancer!

Seems that the doctors have caught it relatively early and she should be fine. They caught it during an MRI, and there’s no word on if she’s going to need surgery or not, if she’s going to undergo chemo, etc. She’s only 36 - which is VERY young for breast cancer. Hopefully, she’ll be just fine.
