Rumors are flying that Michelle Williams, who was Heath Ledger’s long time lovah and baby mama, is now going out with director Spike Jonze. The two struck up a friendship a few years ago when she auditioned for his version of “Where the Wild Things Are”; she was offered a part, but had to back out due to other commitments.

I still honestly can’t believe that Heath Ledger is gone, you know? He wasn’t one of my favorite actors, but in every single part he played, he made such a singular impact. He didn’t let you forget him.

I thought this was a nice story. Michelle Williams is planning on making a remembrance movie of sorts for daughter Matilda, with different actors, etc. giving their memories of Heath to the camera. Here’s more:
“It makes Michelle’s heart ache that Matilda was so young when Heath died and she’s unlikely to retain any memories of her father,” a source told Australian Daily Telegraph. “She wants to keep his spirit alive with something Matilda can treasure all her life.”
Personally I would think it would be more meaningful to have something purely from family rather than from a whole bunch of actors who probably didn’t know him that well, but that’s just me.

A NEW video banned from airing in the US claims to show Heath Ledger allegedly discussing drugs; he talks about how his girlfriend (Michelle Williams) is going to be mad at him and how he just had a baby (Matilda).

In the newest issue of US Weekly, there’s an article about how Heath Ledger was supposed to go to rehab back in 2006:

In March 2006 – just weeks after the couple walked the Oscars red carpet and when daughter Matilda was only five months old – Williams drove Ledger to Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California, the confidant tells Us Weekly.

Ledger refused to check in, instead swaying her with a pledge to clean up.

Even after the couple realized “they were in way over their heads,” according to a source, and split in September 2007, two sources tell Us that Williams demanded Ledger be drug-tested before his visitations with Matilda.

Unfortunately, that’s the nature of addiction - they promise and promise but without outside help they can rarely get themselves well. The real loser in all of this is Matilda, who will never know her daddy.

Apparently Heath Ledger had somewhat of a relationship with self-improvement guy Deepak Chopra; this is their last conversation before he died:

“He was a little depressed about not having seen his daughter,” explained the Seven Laws for Spiritual Success author, who was with their mutual friend Shekhar Kapur – Ledger’s director in the 2002’s The Four Feathers – when he spoke to the actor the day before he died. “It was like, ‘I’m missing my girl. … ‘ He hadn’t seen [two-year-old Matilda] over the holidays, he mentioned that.”

A new article in News of the World shows that Michelle Williams was going to ask for full custody of her and deceased actor Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda, mostly because his “recreational” drug use was really getting out of hand. Here’s more:

Heath Ledger’s drug use spiralled out of control before his death because he feared losing access to his two-year-old daughter, it was revealed.

In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday, a member of the star’s inner circle, Rebecca White, said Ledger believed his former fiancee Michelle Williams was about to serve legal papers demanding sole custody of their child, Matilda.

I don’t understand this. Why wouldn’t this woman call 911 as soon as she couldn’t wake him up?

Police now say Ledger’s masseuse Diana Wolozin phoned Mary-Kate Olsen 3 times over 9 minutes before she called 911, and a 4th time after paramedics arrived. Here’s the timeline:

2:45 p.m. Wolozin shows up for Ledger’s massage appointment and knocks on his door.

3 p.m. She calls his cell phone to wake him up.

She sets up her massage table.

3:17 p.m. She calls Olsen. The conversation lasts 49 seconds.

3:20 p.m. She calls Olsen again. The conversation lasts one minute and 39 seconds.

3:24 p.m. She calls Olsen a third time. The conversation lasts 21 seconds.

3:26 p.m. She calls 911.

3:33 p.m. Paramedics arrive and go up in the elevator to the apartment with Olsen’s security guards (whom Olsen had called to check out the scene).

Paramedics do not allow the security guards into the bedroom where Ledger is.

3:34 p.m. Wolozin calls Olsen a fourth time. The length of that conversation is unknown.

3:36 p.m. Ledger is declared dead. - source

Well, he sure didn’t waster any time, did he?

The ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star - who last month confirmed he had seperated from Michelle after three years together - attended the Another Magazine party at New York’s Bowery Hotel with three Australian friends on Saturday (08.09.07).

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “He was in a ridiculously happy mood and drank Ballatore champagne all night. He ordered it throughout the dinner.”

The actor and his friends partied hard with several beauties, including Chloe Sevigny and Helena Christensen.

I like him as an actor but in his personal life he just seems so skeezy. I always want to just throw him a big bathtub and douse him with antibacterial soap.

It’s official - the couple that we all kind of thought were broken up like, twenty years ago, have now officially broken up.

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have split, Us Weekly can confirm.

A source close to the couple tells Us that Heath and Michelle “quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago.”

“The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart.”

The couple, who live in Brooklyn, NY and have a daughter, Mathilda, 23 months, met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004.

“They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents.”

She always looks kind of pissy anyway - but then, so does he.
