Happy Saturday, you lovely Snarkarinos! So, guess what I did last night? I went and saw the new Sex and the City movie, and judging from reports that I heard both at the theater and online, looks like SATC…..get this….is going to beat out Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Can you believe it? The theater I went to was almost sold out, and I heard other girls talking about how the theater in the next town was sold out until SUNDAY for SATC!!!!

I don’t want to give anything away, but let me tell you this: the movie was over two hours long, but seriously, I felt like I was sitting in the theater for maybe ten minutes. It was that good. I cried, I laughed, and honestly, I want to go and see it again. If you are a SATC fan (as I am!), then you need to go see this movie!!!!!!

Here’s a nice interview with Kim Cattrall; she talks about how she’s glad she’s 50, she does do Botox but that’s IT because she doesn’t want to go completely nuts, and she does mention Sex and the City but ONLY the costumes and story line, not about how much she hates Sarah Jessica Parker. Snippet:

I’m 51 and I think I look my age, but I don’t want to be 20 any more or even 30 or 40. Besides, I’m too terrified to get any proper work so I’ve had just little things done. I have a big crease between my eyebrows and I use Botox to get rid of that, but that’s kind of it. I’m scared of surgery because I don’t want to look in the mirror and not recognise who’s looking back. I don’t want to be in a room, and to have people turn when I leave and say, “what happened?”

Kim Cattrall has publicly come out and stated that she’s only doing Sex and the City: The Movie for the cash. Refreshingly honest, if you ask me.

The blonde bombshell, best known as maneater Samantha, says: ‘It will be nice to step into Samantha’s skin again but I’m only doing the film for the money.

‘Samantha is very dear to me and I have such a wonderful time playing her, but I can’t say more for the experience than wanting financial security.’

Wouldn’t you think she has enough financial security for herself and about five other people? Well, regardless, I know that her and Sarah Jessica Parker are infamous for getting into fights on set; I’m just grateful she’s stepping up to the plate since the movie would NOT be the same without her.
